About the Author

Vanita Rahman, MD, is a board-certified physician in internal medicine. A member of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Dr. Rahman is the clinic director at the Barnard Medical Center in Washington DC where she conducts nutrition education programs, and provides patient care with an emphasis on plant-based nutrition. She lives with her family in Washington DC.
