The plesiosaur appeared at the beginning of the Jurassic air, this formidable aquatic predator is distinguished by a physical that we can call at least unusual. With a broad and relatively flat body, it moves in the depths using four swimming paddles. His long, flexible neck allowed him to hunt by throwing his head into schools of fish, trapping them in his jaws with sharp teeth. He is at the origin of many legends such as that of the Loch Ness monster.

From the pterosaurs family, the tupuxuara used to coexist with many of its crested congeners. Smaller than average, the latter measured only 90cm for 40 kilograms, however, once it wingspan could reach 3 meters. His long beak (50cm) allowed him, as for him, to easily catch food: fish, molluscs, fruits.

Pteranodon is one of the most famous Pterosaurs. This flying reptile lived on Earth in the Late Cretaceous 70 million years ago. With a wingspan of 7 to 9 meters, it moved by hovering over oceans to fish as do our current pelicans. His jaw is devoid of teeth, which suggests that this very good fisherman swallowed the whole fish. The crest on his head counterbalanced with his elongated beak and his skeleton was to be light because of the hollow and thin bones of his wings.

The Tylosaurus, whose name means "protruding lizard", was a large carnivorous marine lizard that could measure up to 15 meters and roamed the shallow seas. With his long and slender body, equipped with two pairs of efficient fins, a powerful tail, he could propel himself at will and thus be able to satisfy his predator appetite. It's likely that his snout served him as a weapon, as well to hunt as to defend himself.
