Home Master Jr. F2 Elite Sinktop uses its advanced five-stage filter to remove up to 93 percent of dirt and rust; soluble metals like fluoride, arsenic, lead, iron, mercury, copper, and aluminum; chemicals like chloramines, chlorine, VOCs, THMs, and many pharmaceuticals (microcontaminants) that create foul tastes and odors in your tap water. Dissolved solids like calcium and magnesium minerals are not removed.

The Home Master Jr. F2 Elite uses its powerful catalytic carbon filtration media to treat the very persistent chemical disinfectant chloramine. Ordinary carbon filters are unable to effectively remove this stubborn contaminant that is now being deployed nationwide to replace chlorine. That’s why Home Master uses the more advanced carbon media known as catalytic carbon.

Advanced multi-stage granular filter

What separates the Home Master Jr F2 Elite from the competition is its granular filters. Many granular filters suffer from a condition where the water bypasses the filtration media completely. A fully channeled and bypassed filter will look like the inside of an anthill, and a substantial amount of the water will pass through it unfiltered. The Home Master Jr. F2 Elite solves this problem by filling the filter cartridge completely, then installing compression disks at the inlet, outlet and between layers to ensure even filtration.

The F2 Elite also uses the latest filtration medias — catalytic carbon and KDF85 — to treat chloramines and remove up to 93 percent of soluble heavy metals such as lead, mercury, copper, and iron, and light metals such as aluminum. To maintain optimum filtration, Home Master Jr. Elite filters should be changed every three months or 500 gallons.
