Ensuring no detail was left out, this filter was designed in Germany, exclusively for The Pond Guy. This multistage UV, mechanical, and biological filtration process polishes the water before returning it to your pond.
The ideal solution for your established water garden, koi pond, or outdoor fishpond. Or add as part of a new pond build.
Filtration begins with a high output, low energy 9-watt UV clarifier. The UV clarifier exposes pond water to a high output ultraviolet light to clear the water before it travels to the chamber.
Inside the chamber, alternating low- and high-density filter media pads filter out debris particles and provide a place for beneficial bacteria to grow. The good bacteria break down ammonia and nitrates that can diminish water quality and harm aquatic life.
Filtration begins with a high output, low energy 9-watt UV clarifier. The UV Clarifier works by channeling water into the vortex chamber for maximal high output UV light exposure.
The ultraviolet rays clear the water before exiting the unit and proceeding to a biological filter or back into the pond.
Alternating low- and high-density filter media pads inside the chamber filter out dirt, organic waste, dead algae, and debris particles.
The large filter media pads also provide a place for beneficial bacteria to grow. The good bacteria break down ammonia and nitrates which can diminish water quality and harm aquatic life.
With a commitment to simple and easy maintenance, an internal diverter valve and waste outlet was added.
When a cleanout is needed, remove the backflush control cap, and turn dial from "filter" to "clean." Lift the handle to compress the filter media inside the canister. Then slowly pump the handle to force out debris.

Please Note: When using 1.5" PVC Tubing or Sch 40 PVC Tubing a 1.5" Rubber Coupling is required but is not included with the filter.
Various Uses: In addition to ponds, the AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System is a great solution for large aquariums, fish tanks, aquagardens, aquaponics applications, and indoor fish or turtle ponds.
Can I connect the filter to my waterfall?
Yes, as long as the gallons per hour on the pump used do not exceed the max flow rate of the filter in the chart above. If your waterfall pump exceeds the max flow rate of the pressurized filter, consider running the filter on a smaller pump.
What happens if I run a pump that is above the recommended max flow of the AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System
If your pump's flow rate (gallons per hour) is higher than the max flow rate of the AllClear G2 Pressurized Filter, the UV will underperform as there will not have enough exposure time to clear the water. You also run the risk of damaging the filter unit and seals by creating too much pressure, which in time, can cause the filter to leak.
How often do I need to clean my AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System?
The amount of fish in your pond will determine how frequently you will need to clean your filter. In general, you should perform regular maintenance once per week using the backflush system. When a cleanout is needed, simply remove the backflush cap, turn the function dial to the backflush outlet to activate the diverter and begin the cleaning. Plug the pump back in. Once this process is engaged, simply lift on the patented easy-clean handle, to compress the filter media inside the canister, giving it one or two long squeezes. This action releases debris, fish waste and other contaminants from the filter pads. The filtered waste will be sent directly to the waste outlet, where it can be directed to your lawn or garden and used as fertilizer. When the backflush water turns clear, unplug your pump. Cap off the backflush discharge, turn the dial to back to filter and turn your pump and AllClear Filter back on. Your filter is now clean and ready for operation.
Why do I have to bury my AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System in the ground?
Burying the AllClear up to the lid allows for easy camouflage of the filter as well as the tubing. It also secures the unit so it does not tip over or fall into the pond. With the lid exposed above ground, this also allows for easy routine maintenance. You can even further camouflage your AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System by using the AllClear Rock Cover.
Can I run the AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System in the winter?
If the ground/pond freezes during winter in your area, it is important to drain and remove the entire AllClear System before winter. This protects the unit from the freezing cold temperatures, which can lead to the unit being damaged.
Enjoy crystal-clear pond water, right in your backyard.
