Have you ever wondered what Pneumonia is and what causes it?

Did you know pneumonia can be prevented and cured in many ways?

This book explains the signs and symptoms of pneumonia and the solution/cure to it.

Pneumonia is an infection of one or both lungs caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi. If you have an infection in your lungs, several things can happen: Swelling (inflammation) of the airways Air sacs in the lungs are filled with mucus and other fluids.
Pneumonia is described as an infection of the lungs, filled with pus or fluid, as air sacs, or alveoli, are known. Pneumonia cases can be considered mild enough to be treated with medication at home or severe enough to require hospitalization.
The primary role of the lungs is to bring oxygen into the blood and remove carbon dioxide.
Certain types of pneumonia are contagious (passed from person to person). Bacterial and viral pneumonia can be transmitted when disease-carrying organisms are inhaled into the lungs.
Pneumonia is spread when someone coughs or sneezes and droplets of liquid containing the pneumonia bacteria or virus are thrown into the air and inhaled by another person.
Pneumonia can be caused by a variety of bacteria, viruses, or fungi.
Symptoms of pneumonia can range from mild (cold or flu-like symptoms) to severe, sometimes called "running pneumonia." The severity of pneumonia depends on the specific bacteria causing it, general health conditions, and age.
Symptoms of bacterial pneumonia can develop gradually or suddenly. Symptoms include High heat (up to 105°F)tiredness (fatigue)Dyspnea: rapid breathing or shortness of breathSweatcoldcoughing up (maybe greenish or containing a small amount of blood)chest and/or abdominal pain, especially when coughing or taking deep breath loss of appetite confused mental state or altered consciousness (especially in older people).
Chest pain can be described in many ways, from a tingling pain to a throbbing sensation to a huge shooting or stabbing discomfort.
In general, coughing is a common symptom in people with pneumonia. Of course, this cough can range from mild to severe, but if it's accompanied by yellow or greenish sputum, and even blood, you may be suffering from pneumonia.
There are many reasons why people run a fever, sweat profusely, and get chills like hypothermia, alcohol withdrawal, viral or bacterial infections, and many other cases. However, if it is accompanied by a fever, especially above 40 degrees Celsius, it is more likely to be pneumonia.
People with pneumonia may also experience nausea that can lead to vomiting. This particular symptom is more common in children, but adults and the elderly are not immune to it.
Diarrhea, like vomiting and nausea, is less common than other symptoms. Diarrhea is often caused by stomach problems, but it can also be caused by pneumonia. Patients experiencing this symptom and vomiting should be sure to stay hydrated as they will lose fluids.
In addition, pneumonia can cause permanent lung damage if left untreated for long periods. Also, always seek help immediately if you have chest pain or trouble breathing.
The signs and symptoms of pneumonia in children vary from child to child and depend on the child's age, the cause of the infection, and the severity of the illness. Pneumonia is usually diagnosed based on a combination of physical signs and often a chest x-ray. Adults with normal vital signs and a normal pulmonary examination are unlikely to make this diagnosis.
