The recipes in this book are healthy and sound very good. I will be sure to try quite a few of them. The book is not perfect in that there are no photos, occasional typo or grammatical errors, and the table of contents is only interactive for the recipe category. Not a problem - I just highlight the recipes that interest me and voila - I have created my own table of contents. There are a lot of great sounding recipes, and that's what really counts. Categories are salad, soup, main dish, and breakfast and dessert. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to cook healthy, not just midlifers.

Typically "diet" books have recipes that are either unappealing or things you already know how to make. This one has some really tasty recipes that aren't typical but very tasty. I really recommend it, menopausal or not
