Review

Parents will enjoy this as much as their kids. (Especially parents who are kids of the 80's)
January 20, 2019
"I first read to my 10-year-old daughter who loved it. She couldn't wait to read with her 13-year-old sister. The next morning, they were both asking to read it to Dad. The whole family LOVED these colorful animal tales. And for an 80's kid like me, it felt like a walk down memory lane with all the descriptive 80's details (Polo, Caboodles, White Rain hairspray!) This is a great book for the entire family to enjoy together. It will have everyone smiling & eager for the next Bandit adventure!"  ~ Steve

Perfect to read aloud and LOL with kids
January 24, 2019
"This is a fast-paced, entertaining, hilarious tale for animal lovers of all ages! It kept me giggling and rooting for sneaky, scheming Bandit all the way through. Plus, I learned some fun facts along the way. The author's engaging storytelling style combined with delightful surprises in every chapter make this a perfect read aloud to share with my 9-year-old."  ~ Amazon Reviewer

Cute, Sensational, Fun, Easy Read
August 5, 2019
"Seriously, though. This book is all those things. I loved that I could read it in two sittings (one if you have longer "sittings" than I have). I laughed out loud. I marveled. It brought "truth is stranger than fiction" to a new reality. It made me both wish I'd had a childhood like the authors, and simultaneously so grateful I didn't! This is a fun read for all ages. I can't wait for the next book in the series!"  ~ Marcy

I fell in love with a raccoon!

A fun book which includes life lessons
May 18, 2019
"A quick read which is hugely entertaining. The stories are written with openness and honesty that take you back to the experience, as if you were right there. If you love animals, and want to read tales expanding from just domesticated animals, this book is for you!"  ~ AJM

Product Description

One of my favorite pets growing up was a raccoon named Bandit. He wasn't by any stretch a traditional pet, but he was by far the most entertaining. The lessons that accompany these stories aren't particularly deep, but the simple truths that I learned from our life with Bandit have served our family well. You might shake your head and wonder how and why our family had a pet raccoon. The short answer ... my eccentric, animal-loving dad, and my incredibly kind and gracious mom. Perhaps the most amazing part is that every story you'll read here actually happened—unbelievably, often unfortunately—it all happened. May you enjoy reading these stories as much as my family enjoyed living them.
