In 2008, following a serious motorbike accident in Paris, I was bedridden for ten months with nineteen broken bones. In addition to the physical consequences, such a long period without activities or social contacts was a mental ordeal.
After that, I had to find an effective and quick way to learn to live again and come back physically and psychologically. I knew that by rebuilding my confidence, all my goals would naturally follow.
After studying the mechanisms of success extensively, I discovered that human beings have the power to achieve the life they want regardless of circumstances.
I decided to combine the force of repetition with the power of imagination. These two elements combined in a method, which I then refined over the years, are the best way to impact the unconscious part of our brain that controls our attitude and therefore the quality of our results.
Thanks to this, I came out of this adventure quickly and every day I continue to evolve,
just like the people close to me to whom I had also transmitted this method. Later I wanted to understand why my life had changed so much and I went to the United States for two years to improve my skills with the best coaches.
When I came back to France, I continued to help people, while allowing them to avoid the trial and error that I had encountered at the beginning. Again, I have seen spectacular results. I have seen people increase their incomes by remarkable amounts and employees become entrepreneurs. I have seen people who are out of touch become bold and people who are withdrawn blossom and reach out to others. I have seen overweight people lose 30 pounds in a short time. I have even seen a 16-year-old student go from an average of 35 to 70 in three months, to name but a few examples.
I have therefore decided today to share this method with you through my book so that you too can obtain the results you want.
People are not meant to live without a goal, and many depressed people have ceased to be depressed as soon as they have found one. Facing the daily tasks is not a goal. It is called survival.
On the other hand, the point of a goal is not to get, but to grow. That is why this goal must seem inaccessible and unreachable to force us to “stretch” ourselves as far as possible out of our comfort zone to achieve it.
There is no point in setting a goal if we know how to reach it. The problem is that we often think reverse.
If you ask someone who earns 5,000 dollars a month how much he would like to earn, he usually says 5,500 or 6,000. This is absurd! It is not at all what he wants, he wants ten times more, it’s self-censorship. He didn’t say what he wanted, he said what he thought he could get, and this difference is crucial.
The worst thing is that he will probably not even achieve this objective because it is very difficult to motivate yourself by choosing a bland goal. There is no deep emotional impact. A bit like the mother who manages to lift a car because her child’s leg is caught under it. Could she have done it to get her neighbor’s vanity case?
Countless unconscious and deep-seated beliefs, like this person’s, hold us all back. Lack of faith in our ability to achieve our goals is the main cause of our failures.
Our attention must be focused on our goals, not on external circumstances. We must not allow doubt to creep in if these circumstances seem unfavorable, as this will hold us back or cause us to give up.
Giving too much importance to external circumstances is a pernicious trap.
The man or woman of action must not be replaced by the man or woman of reaction, for no achievement or success is possible under these conditions.
The difficulties do not come from the obstacles, but from the mental barriers they create. An obstacle can always be bypassed.

While watching his mother prepare a leg of lamb, a young boy notices that she cuts off the end of the bone and throws it in the garbage before putting the dish in the oven. He asks her why she does this unnecessary thing. She replies that this is the best method and that she had learned it from her mother.
He then asked his grandmother, who replied that when she was young, she was penniless and, as her oven was tiny, she had to do this so that the leg of lamb could fit into it. She had continued to do this afterwards out of habit.
It is a phenomenon of mimicry, which we can adopt our whole life.
Modelling our behavior and ideas on those of others is a classic.
Humans are made to evolve. As soon as the phase of progress is interrupted or the activity ceases, a phase of regression naturally occurs. Habits and comfort zones are the opposite of this principle of evolution. They are essential refuges for the human being who lacks confidence and tries hard never to get out of them.
The refusal to evolve also conceals pride, since to evolve is to admit that what we are or what we do can be improved. The ego transforms change into self-criticism, which is then experienced as a personal aggression and an attack on one’s own value.
This is what lies behind convictions and habits. As Nietzsche said: “The enemy of truth is not lies, but convictions.“
When we decide to take 100% responsibility for our world, in all circumstances, our life is transformed. By becoming totally free of approval-seeking, we feel the breath of freedom and take flight.
By making excuses, by trying to justify ourselves by blaming circumstances or others, we instantly become a victim.
By playing this game, we tyrannize those around us. We isolate ourselves and remove any possibility of self-development. Imagine the impact on our confidence when we resign in this way.
