Product Description

Are you wondering why you're taking prescribed therapies and time for strenuous exercise, yet you are not getting better? Plus, sometimes, conversely, you have new limitations and even pains. Check out how the author of this book overcame an acute spinal disease and returned to everyday life. He also strengthened his body so that even many years after the onset of the disease, he no longer felt discomfort. This experience prompted him to start his own research on the mechanics of the human body, particularly on the causes of musculoskeletal disorders and deformities causing a significant loss of health and comfort in life.

In the book, you will read, among other things, about

  • How children with a weaker mitochondrial genome can avoid severe developmental defects such as scoliosis, general physical underdevelopment, and other musculoskeletal defects. How these children can match the level of physical development of other peers by consciously using the forces of gravity.
  • How the proper use of gravitational energy in an almost imperceptible way shapes the correct body posture in people with particular genetic predispositions. How effectively it affects the development of their muscular system, vitality, and health, and what should be done not only not to waste this potential but also to effectively use it for further strengthening of the body.
  • How adults can avoid conditions such as musculoskeletal pain, disc herniation, joint degradation, and general body weakness.
  • What are the causes of the loss of motor skills in seniors and the general decline in health with age. Moreover, what are the indications of how to stop these changes to maintain fitness and health until old age.
  • Why activities such as walking, running, sitting, bending the body, doing squats, and lifting weights should, in most cases, be done differently from what is generally recommended.
  • How to maintain high physical and intellectual fitness thanks to man's conscious acquisition of energy in the biological and gravitational cycle.
  • How, through the action of gravity, in some body positions, there is a negative shaping of muscle tension, which causes the weakening of vitality and human health, and how can we prevent it.
  • Why many of the recommended ways to exercise in a variety of sports, including bodybuilding and weightlifting, often lead to health loss rather than health improvement.

Remove mobility restrictions and pain. Restore the proper functioning of your body.

Review

Medicine has come a long way, improving healthcare treatment in many aspects. One area where it continues to fall behind is the issue of pain. Particularly back pain. Although medical professionals will run the tests, poke around, and give a listening ear to a patient's back complaints, treatment is often restricted to painkillers, physiotherapy, acupuncture, and sometimes surgery. Not always do any of these approaches solve or heal the problem. Marian Jodlowki's book, Fix Your Back Like an Architect: Gravity Therapy of the Spine and Motor Organs, is an in-depth, inspirational, encouraging, and educational look at the author's battle with the very painful acute spinal disc disease. Part memoir, the author shares her story of acute back pain and her determination to find a means to recover her core energy and rebuild her inner strength - in short, to eliminate her debilitating back pain. As she points out repeatedly, acute pain is like an alarm system, telling a person that something's not right with the body and something needs to be done to fix the underlying issue of the pain, not to dull it with painkillers.
Marian Jodlowki's Fix Your Back Like an Architect is well documented, researched, and presented with care so that the technicalities of what's being discussed are not too complex. The author leads the reader through her journey of discovery and healing, learning and understanding the importance of "the three cycles responsible for self-healing at every stage of life." These are the biochemical cycle, the biogravity cycle, and the diurnal cycle, all with core components in the overall well-being of the human body. The author presents her research in an organized fashion, documenting her research thoroughly and including concise references at the end as well as a useful list of terms. This is a thorough look at the healing process, following the author's personal journey to wellness. Fascinating!

"The aim of this book is to identify the causes of problems in the functioning of the spine, movement organs, joints and deformities of the body..."

A Polish architectural engineer brings his professional expertise and experiences with a "bad back" to bear in this medical handbook exploring the human musculoskeletal system. The book is suitable "not only for medicine, rehabilitation or sports professionals, but also for ordinary people looking for tips on how to stay healthy and fit for many years." At fifty-five, the author experienced a herniated disc that caused sciatica, shooting pains in the lumbar region of his back. He soon found that the main treatment consisted of prescription painkillers and muscle relaxants. While he pursued the prescribed therapy, he scoured the Internet for more information, finding that modern medicine mostly lacked non-surgical interventions for his condition. Jodlowski found a therapist who treated spinal and motor organ issues with therapeutic exercises that border upon kinesiotherapy.

After preparation with the physical therapist, the author spent months with a rehabilitation trainer who noticed he understood how the exercises worked on various parts of his body better than other clients. Despite his progress, Jodlowski exercised only intermittently, experiencing mixed results. He later began reading about sports training methods that improved his mobility and muscle remodeling but noted contradictions in exercises not consistent with the mechanics of motion and laws of physics.

The result of his discoveries is this impressive book, which morphed from a simple guidebook into a comprehensive reference book. This attractive and well-written volume contains ample illustrations, photos, tables, and lists to support the narrative and substantively defines the terms and processes necessary for the reader's understanding. There are a few minor translation errors, but these don't detract from the smooth narrative overall. Jodlowski effectively presents how to protect the spine, joints, and muscular system from injury and degradation through proper walking, running, sitting, bending, and lifting methods.

US Review of Books

RECOMMENDED by the US Review

Many of us today suffer from back problems for a variety of reasons. Perhaps some have tried to relieve the pain, but the results have been unsatisfactory. If you want to know how to improve your physical condition, I suggest you read Fix Your Back Like an Architect by Marian Jodlowski. In this enlightening book, the author shares with her readers the information she found after suffering from back problems herself. In addition to debunking beliefs that many of us consider true but actually do more harm than good, Jodlowski will offer insights into the biochemical cycle, nutrition, the influence of gravity, body defects, and much more.

Fix Your Back Like an Architect is a book that I found very interesting and well-researched. Marian Jodlowski has researched the subject extensively and offers her readers useful information to help them improve (if not fix) their back problems. I liked that she analyzed so many aspects. Among those that struck me the most, I mention the advice regarding the best footwear and the considerations regarding swimming (which is not as effective as commonly believed). In particular, the fact that Jodlowski reveals how many beliefs are wrong will help readers to make better choices. I do not think this book has any negative aspects, and I am sure many people will benefit from Marian Jodlowski's advice. I recommend Fix Your Back Like an Architect to anyone who already suffers from back problems or wishes to prevent them; all of them will find valuable suggestions in this book.

Violation of correct movement principles involves running, walking, sitting, bending, and wearing unsuitable contemporary footwear such as high-heeled shoes, which cause an imbalance in the muscles that later progresses to deformation. This is a harsh reminder for you to pay attention to appropriate body movement to avoid the negative forces affecting the musculoskeletal system, which accelerates deformation. Before the principles of movement, body defects, and their treatments, Marian Jodlowski introduces us to life energy and health in Fix Your Back Like an Architect, where he discusses the two types of energy, their sources, and how they strengthen the body to overcome obstacles and handle complex tasks. This is important since most of the disorders of the motor organs are related to low energy in the muscles and some internal organs. The author discusses the importance of sleep in helping one regain lost energy during the day. Lastly, Jodlowski educates us on spine conditions, such as scoliosis, discopathies, and lumbago, their causes, and their treatments.
Marian Jodlowski, having been a victim of musculoskeletal dysfunction, writes Fix Your Back Like an Architect from his own experiences and through research. The information discussed is authentic and the product of empirical and extensive research and thereby is reliable. In addition, the author has included a bibliography at the end of the book, which contains references for readers to conduct further reading. Marian's choice of words is also commendable, as he does not restrict himself to medical jargon that would otherwise be challenging. I also loved the inclusion of colorful illustrations, which complemented his narration and helped my understanding of the topics. I recommend this book to readers with back problems since it will enable them to understand the problems, their causes, and offers suggestions for treatment.
