Homework Planner: A Simple, Easy-To-Use Assignment Notebook Agenda 

Let’s face it...the planners and agendas that the schools give out just don’t work for all students. (Especially for those with ADHD or executive functioning issues!) Many students need a homework planner that is much more simple and easier to use. Something without all the needless bells and whistles.

As a school counselor, I spent several years creating planner pages for my students. At first, I made them extremely detailed and specific. However, that usually backfired and the kids would always “forget” to write in it or complain it took too much time or effort. Over time, I realized most of my students did better when each page was kept simple and predictable. 

This planner is the exact same thing I use with my own students. It’s what has proven the most efficient and successful for my struggling students. I hope it will work just as well for your child!

This homework planner includes:

• • Over 100 assignment completion log pages - with columns to record the subject, assignment, due date, turned in status, and notes for each assignment. These pages are undated, so the child can decide if they want to use one sheet each day, one sheet each week, or just carry on until they run out of space. This flexibility gives the child freedom to select what works best for them. 
  • Over 100 blank reminder pages - located right next to the assignment completion logs. Students can write down any important reminders they want -- upcoming tests, projects, permission slip due dates, website addresses, or phone numbers. The page is purposely left blank so students have the freedom to use it however they see fit.
