GRADE A, IVORY, HIGH-QUALITY & FRESH: The color of shea butter is a good indicator of its quality and nutritional value.  Because our Shea Butter is extracted from pure African shea nuts in Ghana WITHOUT heat or chemical alteration, it is ivory in color. But color is not the only indicator of quality. Our Shea Butter is also Grade A, meaning it has never been bleached or deodorized and is extracted from a higher quantity of shea nuts, making it naturally higher in nutrients compared to other brands. In fact it is so natural and high-quality that it even smells slightly nutty and earthy!
