About the Author

KIMBERLY MATHAI, MS, RD, CDE, earned a master’s degree in integrative nutrition from Bastyr University and completed her clinical training at Tulane University. Kimberly is a national presenter on the topic of nutrition and cancer. She lives in Seattle.

CANCER LIFELINE was founded in 1973 by a cancer survivor and a group of her close friends who began a 24-hour telephone “Lifeline.” . For forty years, Cancer Lifeline has been enriching the lives of those impacted by cancer. A nonprofit organization, Cancer Lifeline provides cancer patients and their family members, caregivers, friends, and coworkers with the education, resources, and emotional support to live with cancer.
