When to Start Using

Begin using ScarAway as soon as the skin is healed and there is no oozing or crusting in the area. Treatment with ScarAway for post-surgical scars may typically begin 1-2 weeks after stitches are removed or when cleared by a physician or surgeon for use. What Types of Scars to Use On

How to Experience Best Results

The longer silicone is in contact with the skin, the faster results will be visible. For maximum effect, ScarAway should have 24 hour contact with the skin. Wash and dry the scar area daily. Recommended duration of treatment is 60-90 days. For best results, alternate ScarAway Silicone Scar Sheets with ScarAway Silicone Scar Gel every 12 hours. Do not use both together at the same time.
