RECIPE IDEAS

Fresh Citrus Cocktail with blk. Drops

• 2 ounces of spirits or use ginger beer for a mocktail
• 1/2 ounce St. Germain (elderflower liquor)
• 1 full dropper blk. Drops
• 1/3 cup fresh squeezed clementine or orange juice
• 1 cup of pomegranate for topping, Optional (1 fresh thyme or mint)

INSTRUCTIONS

1.) Use a large pitcher to combine the vodka (or ginger beer), elderflower liquor, (if using), and clementine or orange juice.

2.) Add blk. Drops and stir well, then chill until ready to serve.

3.) Just before serving, add ice, and pomegranate toppings. Serve garnished with thyme or mint.

Chia Pudding made with blk. Drops

• 2 cups whole wheat or All-purpose Flour
• Chia seeds – use black or white
• Unsweetened plant milk – almond, coconut, oat, soy or your favorite non-dairy milk
• 10 drops of blk. Drops or 2 teaspoons of blk. Strawberry Rhubarb depending if you want a berry-ier taste
• Vanilla – use a few drops of vanilla extract. Optional: Pure maple syrup – can sub with coconut sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

1.) In a medium sized bowl, combine the chia seeds, almond milk, blk. Drops or Strawberry Rhubarb, vanilla, and optional sweetener then mix well.

2.) Stir twice! Then place it in the fridge and after 5-10 minutes give it a good second stir. This is an important step because without a proper shake or stir, the pudding won't thicken or set properly.

3.) Refrigerate for 20 minutes, then place fruit toppings on top or below (or both) in the pudding and serve. Some of our favorite fruit toppings include: strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries, which make for the perfect "antioxidant boosting" blend with blk.!

Banana Bread made with blk. Drops

• 2 cups whole wheat or All-purpose Flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon salt, & ½ teaspoon cinnamon
• ½ cup butter or vegetable oil**
• ½ cup brown sugar & ¼ cup sugar
• 1 tsp blk. Drops
• 2 eggs & 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 ⅓ cups mashed bananas

INSTRUCTIONS

1.) Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 8x4 loaf pan. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Whisk to combine with blk. Drops until completely blended.

3.) Then combine butter and sugars in a medium bowl until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Stir in mashed bananas. 4.) Add dry ingredients and mix just until combined. Pour into prepared bread pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. **Do not over-bake (we want to keep that loaf delicious and moist!) 5.) Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then, remove from pan and cool completely on a rack.
